Give what you don't need.
Take what you do.

A local platform where neighbors exchange things for free. No money. No shipping. No middlemen. Just stuff finding a new home.

🚧 Early stage — the project is taking shape. Check back soon.

How it works

1

Post an item

Snap a photo of something you no longer need — a guitar, a lamp, a stack of books. Add a short description.

2

Meet locally

Someone in your city reaches out. You agree on a pickup spot. The exchange is always in person.

3

Pass it on

No payment changes hands. The item finds a new life. When you need something, the community is there.

What we stand for

🌱 Less waste

Every item reused is one less thing in a landfill. Small gestures, big aggregate impact.

🤝 Local first

Neighbors helping neighbors. Exchanges happen in your city, never across continents.

🔐 Privacy by design

We store as little as possible about you. No tracking, no ads, no selling data.

💸 Always free

No fees, no premium tier, no hidden costs. Gifting means gifting.

Questions

Is this really 100% free?

Yes. No payments, no fees, no paid promotions. If someone asks you for money, that's not Passit.

What if I want to ship something across the country?

Passit is local by design. Exchanges happen in your city, face to face. This keeps things simple and trustworthy.

How do you prevent resellers or misuse?

We're a public bulletin board, not a courier. Listings are visible to everyone, and the community moderates itself. We cooperate with lawful takedown requests.

Who runs Passit?

An independent enthusiast, for now. The long-term goal is a platform any city can self-host and run for its own community.

Can I help?

Soon. Once the project has a home, contributors and local organizers will be very welcome.
